3 Date Looks with Maggy London

8.24.2015

I was so excited when Maggy London asked me to style three of their gorgeous pieces for one fun occasion. I've loved the brand and especially the brand's dresses since I was young. I remember one Christmas my mom bought me a beautiful yellow silk and taffeta Maggy London dress that I never wanted to take off! As for this post, I chose 'date' as the special occasion and three different Maggy London looks for three different dates!

Romantic Garden Dinner: Dress, Maggy London.
For this look I paired Maggy London's Striped Lace Border Sheath Dresss with strappy nude heels. I love this outfit for a romantic late-summer dinner date on a lovely garden terrace, like the Chester in the Meatpacking District. The color is an elegant cream textured with woven stripes and a lovely lace hem. The shape is sexy and flattering without being over the top, especially when balanced with the midi length.

Weekend Brunch Date: Dress, Maggy London.
For the second look, I wanted to create an outfit perfect for a day date like Brooklyn Brunch or a picnic in the park. I picked this cheery yellow Daisy Fit and Flare frock from Maggy London. I love the bright color and sweet lace texture. The shape is very flattering, cutting in at the waist and flowing out to a full, airy skirt. I paired the dress with grey suede sandals and my signature red lip!

Cocktails & Dancing: Top: Maggy London
For the last look, I wanted to do something slightly sexy for a late-night date like cocktails and dancing in West Village. I fell head over heels for the best-selling Maggy London Illusion top in black. It really flattering the body with a sheer upper and sweetheart neckline. It also has ruching along the side for a slimming effect. I paired the top with black skinny jeans and leopard d'orsay heels. It's perfect for painting the town red on an early fall Manhattan night.

Which look is your favorite! Check out all my Maggy London picks for the perfect date below.
